Concept
日本の風景には、自然と人との共生を
感じることが多くある。
この景色の中には、
多種多様な生物がいて、
それらが共に暮らしている。
とても美しいことだと思う。
美しい景色の中にいながら
私はどんな不満を持ち、
どんな生き方をしていただろう。
今この瞬間を幸せに思える、
そんな作品を制作しています。
I often find in Japanese landscapes a sense of coexistence
between nature and people.
Within these landscapes, countless forms of life exist together,
sharing the same place. I find this deeply beautiful.
Surrounded by such beautiful scenery,
what was I dissatisfied with,
and how had been choosing to live?
I create works that invite us to feel
happiness in this very moment,
here and now.
